Model 5 - The Slant - Small

The Slant is the little brother to Model 6 (also called the slant). This design was inspired by a wooden spoon we had previously purchased, it was also the first design that Brandon attempted to build. We really enjoy the form features that the angled blade brings to the party, it helps keep your hand out of harm's way... and inspires a more whimsical outlook on life and in your cooking! These are our shortest utensils, they feel much more at home around a small skillet or small pan than around a pot or wok.

These come in at 11 inches long and a shade under 1/2 inch thick.

These utensils come either in Maple or Cherry for your wood choice. Every one of our wood utensils are made from Michigan grown and harvested hardwoods we source from a local sawmill. They have been coated in a thin layer of mineral oil which you can choose to continue to use in your own care routine, or remove upon arrival to substitute your own oil of choice. (In our home we generally use Olive Oil).
